“Jack Hanna’s Into the Wild” television show is now airing back-to-back episodes on Saturday mornings on The CW! We watch it nearly every Saturday morning, and we did when the kids were young as well.

I love nature and wildlife and learning about them. I was excited when we bought tickets to the Columbus Zoo to see Jack Hanna in person. What a wonderful experience it was.

I searched and searched and finally found the pictures of our visit in September of 2018. The Columbus Zoo was plagued with low attendance and outdated animal exhibits until Jack Hanna took over.

Sadly, most of the pictures I took of Jack himself were blurry. This was the best one I could find. I can sure tell that I have improved my picture-taking over the years.

He was named the Director of the Columbus Zoo in 1978. I was only in the 8th grade so I have been following his career for a long time.
