We just never know what tomorrow will bring. I'm sorry he died so suddenly. I watched my dad die of cancer, slowly. The day he died I had been there that morning, but had to leave to run and go get the kids at preschool, take them home where Rich's parents were watching them for us, and hurry back out to the house where dad was dying. When I pulled in the driveway, I knew he was gone. You see, the door had been opened because he kept saying he couldn't breathe and wanted fresh air. The door was closed. Rich came out and I could tell dad had just passed. I missed it.
