I have been thinking about starting a new blog to document our travels and experiences since moving into an RV and traveling full-time.

I have been writing faithfully about the places we have seen here at Medium, but felt that more of my friends and family would be able to read about our travels better if it was somewhere where they could read it for free.

At Medium it costs $4.99 per month to read unlimited stories and articles, although I think people can read three articles per month for free. When I am writing everyday, that means they are missing out on the other 27 posts.

I love it when my friends here at Medium read my posts because that’s how I get paid, but reaching my family readers is important too, and it isn’t always necessary to get paid for it. I also love taking photos. All the photos I post are taken by me unless otherwise noted. Once in a while I will use an Unsplash photo.

I have decided the best way to bring my friends and family along with us on our journeys is to post a daily blog on the landing page of my website at www.jakeirns.com. I hope you will bookmark it and check it regularly. Thanks for coming along for the ride.
