Every full-time RVer has a map of the states they have been to in their RV. Well, if they don’t, they should. This is ours on the door panel.
Sometimes it is stuck to the door like ours is. Sometimes it is stuck to the side of a slide out. And sometimes it is just stuck on the outside of the RV somewhere so people can see it as they drive down the road.
I have been counting the state as long as our RV drives in it or through it. We have met people who only count the state if they sleep in the RV in that state or stay there for a time.
I want to explore all the states, not just drive through them. But as long as the RV has been in that state I count it.
There is no right way or wrong way. Whatever works for each of us is fine.
