Today’s word is meeting.

A Drabble is a short fiction story of exactly 100 words. No more. No less. If you think it is so easy, you should try it yourself!

The discussion devolved into a confusing mess. Nancy tried to keep her editors in line but it didn’t take long for the meeting to flounder without any clear direction.

Randy and Denee continuously threw out unclear ideas. Adrienne was off in la-la land because of her jetlag.

Julie and Lynn became increasingly frustrated as the conversation about commas and periods went nowhere. How could they not care about a comma?

Finally, Harry showed up with a bottle of Scotch he brought back from Scotland and the meeting was no longer muddled.

Nancy proposed a recess and the party began.
