2013 — When we first moved into the last house we lived in, it didn’t have a fire pit dug out, it just had the above ground one you see in the photo above.

2015 — Eventually we put some bricks down and made it a little bigger. Rich dug out a few inches down into the ground. You can tell we used it a lot.

2019 — This is one of the fire rings at our daughter’s house in Ohio. When we pull the RV in to visit, we use this fire ring out by us.

2020 — Compare this campfire to the first two photos above. Five years difference at the same spot in the same fire pit. You can see how the bricks have changed.
