Privacy in an RV Lacks Quality

Don’t expect much of it

The picture above is the first RV we lived in for six months. It was only 28 feet long and as you can tell, it was a small space to get through from the kitchen to the bedroom. The bathroom door was in that little hallway to the right and the shower was to the left. And yes, it was decorated in Ohio State stuff when we bought it.

Rich and I have been together since February 1985 and we have been through it all. We are comfortable with each other and with each other’s quirks and noises and bad habits.

Oh, don’t get me wrong, there are still things about him that bug me; and I am sure there are a lot of things about me that bug him. And if they bugged us too much in a house, imagine how much more they bug us in a small RV.

In the first RV we owned, there was a lot less room just to walk by each other. We have learned to patiently wait on the other one to finish what they are doing if we just want to walk by. At least we have a little more room in the current RV we live in.

I couldn’t find a photo of the hallway back to the bathroom and bedroom and right now it is a mess, so this one…
