Jason Provencio posted an article about a challenge of 100 thoughts in 20 minutes. I remember that being called a stream of consciousness in college.

We are currently sitting in a campground just outside of Big Bend National Park. At the moment of this writing we have no cell phone service, no wi-fi or internet, and no electricity. It is quiet. No television, no noise, no lights. Seems like the perfect opportunity to kick this one out of the park.

So here is my stream of consciousness for the next 20 minutes…or so…

1. Rich is doing the dishes. He must want sex tonight.
2. I can’t breathe out of my left nostril.
3. Sometimes I wake up at night because I can’t breathe out of my nose.
4. I am a nose-breather.
5. Maybe if I didn’t use Afrin nasal spray all the time my nasal passages wouldn’t swell shut.
6. I should use a netti-pot again.
7. Wow, my hands are really dry.
