My first story on Medium was published on August 13, 2020. I published three articles that day and the one I would like to share is about my broken bones due to Osteopenia.

As a writer, I have always been an introvert. I was not a socializer. I would rather stay home and write or read.

Read as much as you write

One thing I have learned on Medium is that it is a community of people who like to write and want others to read what they write. How can I expect others to read my stories, if I don’t read theirs?

Learn to say hello and strike up conversations

Since moving into the RV full-time and traveling around the country, I have gotten better at saying hello to strangers and striking up conversations with them. The windows are open in the RV. At home, they were always closed. I have brought this new attitude back to Medium and the growth is amazing.
