I would like to introduce you to Forest and Rabbit. Our two canine travel companions. Forest is the larger one on the left, and Rabbit is the smaller one on the right.

We got Forest three years ago when he was only eight weeks old and we still lived in a house. He is a Cavoodle. His father was a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and his mother was a miniature white poodle. He is full grown at ten pounds. He is the cutest thing and gets compliments wherever we go. He still looks like a puppy and always will. He loves people and just wants to be petted. He barks at other dogs. Sometimes incessantly. But he is the cutest and most loving dog you would ever want.

When we moved into an RV he adjusted fine. He would get nervous and pace though when the motorhome was moving down the road. The old RV we had originally was louder and we thought maybe that was part of the problem. This new motorhome is much quieter and he travels better now.

As we traveled, we would take him with us when we could, but there were a lot of places we wanted to see that it was not practical to take him. He ended up home alone a lot.

After six months in the motorhome we were back home in Ohio for a while and my husband Rich saw the face of a cute little dog at the pound. He immediately wanted…
