In a nutshell — after selling our house in April 2022 and moving into an RV full-time, we lived in the state of Washington in May and June, Ohio in July, and Missouri for August. We were in the state of New York for the month of September when my 90-year-old mother had a health scare and we needed to go back to Ohio. The original plan was to head to South Carolina for October and be in Florida for November and December. I cancelled all our reservations, thankfully with minimal penalties, and we went home to Ohio instead. Things always work out for the best. While in Ohio we found a larger motorhome for sale. After living in the small 28-foot Winnebago for six months, we were ready to have a little more room.

Everything worked out and we sold the old RV for a profit and purchased a 2003 38-foot Newmar Scottsdale from a reliable friend. The new RV is beautiful. We love it. It is not new, but new to us, and much nicer than the previous one. We stayed in Ohio until the end of November getting moved into the new RV and figuring it out. We also wanted to make sure my mother was going to be okay before we left again. The weather was turning cold in Ohio and it was not ideal to stay there any longer. On December 1 we pulled into Lake Rousseau RV Resort near Crystal River, Florida and here we sit.
