I always loved reading to the kids a lot more than they enjoyed sitting still and being read to. Now I have grandchildren that I try to read to. They don’t seem to really enjoy sitting still any more than my own kids did, but I will still continue to keep trying.

I buy them books and make them sit down and let me read them to them at least once. Nothing like forcing a love of books onto your kids and grandkids. Maybe someday one of them will enjoy books or reading as much as I do.

My mother does not read very much either, but I bought her a book one time for Mother’s Day and wrote her all kinds of little notes throughout the pages and gave it to her with a letter that said, “Now this is a book you will have to read at least once because I have written you lots of little love notes all the way through it. Ha ha.”

Someday in my old age when I am lying on my death bed, I hope my children and grandchildren will sit by my bed and read me a book.

This collection contains all the book review and movie review articles I have written and submitted to the Reviewsday Tuesday Publication. The most recent submissions are at the top. Enjoy! I will update the list regularly…
