I Made It To 100!
Followers on Medium
I finally made it to 100 followers on the Medium writing platform so I filled out the application and submitted it. It took three days for them to get back with me just like they said it would. I was approved today to start making money again on Medium through the partner program. What a great way to start the year!
I made money on Medium before they implemented the 100 followers rule. Not much, but a little. When you are a struggling writer, every penny counts right? I got away from writing on Medium at that time because I was so far away from 100 anyway. I was also busy with college and that took up a lot of my writing time.
Now I am in the process of going through all my published stories and editing them to be metered for the partner program. I have quite a few stories and I am doing them one at a time. I will feel really foolish if I find out there was an easier way.
I also figured out how to put the tipping button at the bottom of all my stories. Wow, I am on a roll. Now I just need to figure out how to add my link that people can sign up for Medium through my link. I don’t quite get that one yet. But I will.
