I Don’t Like the Smell of Gain

I hate commercials. They’re always trying to convince me to try something new, but then I end up with a bunch of stuff I don’t like. That’s what happened when I decided to try Gain laundry detergent pods. For years I have been a faithful All Free and Clear user.

But I purchased a container of the Gain original scent pods. Living in the RV, I always buy the laundry pods. It is easy to throw a pod in the laundry bag with one load, walk it over to the laundromat at the campgrounds, and just throw the whole thing in there, bag and all. Yes, I do dump the clothes out of the bag, but I always wash the bag too.

Purchasing laundry pods saves me the hassle of measuring out detergent and pouring it into the dispenser. It’s also more compact and lightweight than a bottle of detergent.

Gain original scent contains orange, lemon, and blossoms with a fruity green twist. I don’t care for flowery scents, but I thought this sounded like it would have more of a citrus overtone. When I didn’t like the scent, AT ALL, I looked it up and found out that the undertone scent was white floral jasmine with a hint of woody amber. Well, that’s the problem right there.

I just can’t handle floral scents at all. They give me a headache. Everyone has different preferences when…
