I opened an Unsplash account a while ago and contribute photos sort of regularly when I think of it.

It is a free account and I can only submit ten photos per week. They accept most of the photos I take with my phone as high enough quality.

It is fun to see how many times a certain photo is viewed or downloaded. I don’t care that I don’t get paid for it.

My photos are being seen and liked and used by other people. That makes me feel good.

It would be neat to come across a story here on Medium that used one of my photos from Unsplash.

It’s just as exciting here on Medium to see how many times a story is read. It’s even more fun to get paid each time someone does.

I read an article by Agu Sergius Alex, MD ✨ about the Unsplash+ program where contributors can get paid for their photos but I haven’t checked into it yet.

I wonder if photos for the paid program have to be higher quality than I can take with…
