Cleaning Day in the RV

Yes, We do still have to clean once in a while

Today we are doing laundry, sweeping the carpets, and cleaning the RV. We will be moving again on Wednesday, March 1. February and our time at Big Bend is coming to a close.

You can’t even imagine how much dust has settled on all the cupboard doors and countertops. The window blinds, couch cushions, and pillows are dusty. We have been sitting in the desert for a while, and I am not sure if moving up to Carlsbad, New Mexico will be any better, but I still feel the need to clean what I can before we move. I can write the words “clean me” on the tv screen.

We have met several couples while living here at Stillwell Ranch RV Park. Many of them are moving every three days, or every week. We tried that in the beginning when we first started full-time and it was too much work and too stressful for us.

We enjoy the more relaxing and peaceful lifestyle of living in one place for a whole month. We feel like we can really explore and see everything there is to see. We don’t want to stay in a place only a few days and miss a lot of it. We also don’t want to stay in one place for more than one month at a time because we get bored and antsy to move on.

By the end of the month we are ready to leave and move on. We are ready to start a new…
