Healing my health and losing weight

This is going to be about as personal as my writing gets. Sharing the truth about my weight is not something that comes easy.

History

The past year my health has gotten worse and I feel like crap all the time. I have gained weight, lost strength, and struggled to move without pain.

Since breaking my legs and so many bones, I can’t do as much as I used to. I hurt everywhere. If my legs hang down they swell tight.

My body feels inflamed and swollen everywhere. I constantly notice little bumps on my arms and legs. My skin is always dry and itchy. I feel like my stomach is swollen and inflamed, not just fat. I often wonder if it is the medicine I am on.

I have no real energy and sleep either a lot or not at all. My health, weight gain, and pain are depressing me.

What is wrong with me?

Family, friends, and professionals all have suggestions and advice, but I am not completely convinced about any of them.

My mother and sister tell me regularly that I would feel better if I lost a bunch of weight. I already know this.

My daughter wants me to talk to her doctor about the Mounjaro shots. I read…
