Rich and I did a lot of tent camping in 2020 before we bought the RV. There are some wonderful state parks in Ohio. We owned an old fishing boat and were quite content to spend our days on the water. We both still worked full-time day jobs and just wanted to get away on our weekends.
Barkcamp State Park is located in Southeastern Ohio just off I-70 about 20 miles from the West Virginia State Line. Right at the exit there are gas stations and restaurants, so depending on what type of camping you like to do, you can always hop up to the exit about 5 minutes from the campground for any supplies you might need.
