Little did I know when I booked five nights at the Blue Knob State Park Campground in Pennsylvania, that there would be no service here. When I say no service, I mean NO SERVICE!

No cell phone reception, no television reception, no radio reception, nothing. I can’t check Medium, or do anything at all online. We can’t even check the weather. The SOS in the upper right corner of a cell phone can be frustrating. It’s a total digital detox!

We do have electricity though. Since I sleep with a cpap machine I can’t do without electricity. I don’t have a battery backup for it and this camper doesn’t have a generator.

There is a water spigot right behind us and hot showers in the bathhouse but no water hookups at the campsites.
