5 Simple Ways to Use Zip Ties

First

Underneath the kitchen sink is a cabinet for storage, and the water lines to the kitchen faucet hang down in the way because they are too long. We have one of those faucets where it pulls out and so every time I put the tip back in the coil gets stuck because it hits the water lines. Rich took a couple of zip ties and strapped them up out of the way.

Second

At Christmastime in Florida, I bought two large ornaments that I wanted to hang outside on the corners of the awning. The easiest way to put them up was with zip ties. I always cut the ends off so they don’t just hang there. Then when it is time to take them down I just snip them off with scissors or a utility knife.

I made two seashell windchimes that I will probably use zip ties to hang outside when we get to the next spot. I am afraid to hang them outside here. A strong breeze blows every day and it is too windy here on the Gulf.
